I love how you use steroids to make your wedding pictures better each time, seems to work pretty well. not sure I agree with it, but well done anyway, I guess.
Stellar work Mr. Newsom! Their first-kiss shot coveys so much emotion. I'm giddy, butterflies and all! Love the bride + ring bearers, and that tree is without-a-doubt nature's blessing!
Are you the type that answers questions? Probably a stretch... but just in case you're in the mood when you read this, :)I'm budding, learning, and realizing how little I know about photography every day as I learn more. And suddenly it's hit my like a truck that my sky is almost always blown out to white in order to get the exposure on faces right. You have one in particular on here where the sun is clearly behind her, like a bright star, sky still blue, and she is perfectly lit. Is that with flash? How do you do that? Am I missing something very basic? Or is that one of those things that is just BECAUSE you are that good. :) Beautiful beautiful work.
I know this photography stuff can be hard - but you're doing great! keep practicing and you'll eventually get it down. don't give up! I bet that one day, you'll be so good, that everyone will be inspired and amazed by your work - and they won't even know how to comment on your blog without being retardedly sarcastic. Until then, just keep doing what you're doing, and you'll be shooting like a pro in no time.
Jeff- I looked at Santa Margarita as a possible wedding site for my fiance and I, but never saw this spot where the ceremony was held, where is it at Santa Margarita? Thanks!
